Gladstone Girls Capture Tawas Softball Invitational
The Gladstone Braves softball team won the Tawas Invitational on Saturday.
The Braves beat the Tawas Braves, 9-2. Jenna Tardiff had RBI doubles in each of the first two innings and Taelor Zeise singled in two runs in the first inning and doubled home two more runs in the sixth. Andie Balenger pitched a complete game eight hitter and had an RBI hit at the plate.
Gladstone beat the Ogemaw Heights Falcons, 13-5. Taylor Trudeau had a grand slam home run and Sydney Herioux had three hits and two RBI. Zeise had a double and three RBI.
