Wildcats Prepare For U.P. Battle In Copper Country
MARQUETTE---The Northern Michigan University football team held its practice outside of the Superior Dome Thursday in preparation for Saturday's Miner's Cup battle with the Michigan Tech Huskies.
The Wildcats have lost nine straight match-ups with their Upper Peninsula rivals. This is the 92nd meeting between the two schools. Kick-off at Tech's Sherman Field is set for 1:00 on Saturday. The broadcast will start at 12:35 on WUPT-FM (100.3 The Point), WCHT-AM (NewsTalk 600), and 0n-line at www.rrnsports.com.
It will also be nationally televised on the GLIAC's Facebook page, the DII Facebook page and the DII Twitter page as well as the NMU Athletics Facebook page.
