Friday's third game was also an easy one, with Marquette beating Boyne City, 8-1. Dawson notched his second hat trick of the day with assists going to Lindberg, Sandstrom, and Johnson. Other goal scorers for Marquette included Pickard from Dawson, Lindberg from Pickard, Sandstrom from Ngafeeson, Johnson from Ngafeeson, and Vermaat unassisted.
