STATE CHAMPS! Marquette Gets Marathon Victory
HOWELL---The Marquette Midget BB 18u hockey team won a MAHA state championship Sunday night in downstate Howell. Marquette beat Belle Tire from the Detroit suburb of Taylor, 4-3, in double overtime, in the championship game, after coming back from a 3-1 deficit. Earlier in the day, Marquette beat Big Boy from the Detroit suburb of Fraser, 4-1, in the semifinal.
